UX24/7 is a global design research agency. We help some of the worlds most recognised brands involve their customers in the creation, launch and operation of their products and services. And we help them almost anywhere in the world through our team of more than 100, senior design researchers. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Lead design researcher that has already made, or is looking to make, their first step into people and program management.

When you join UX24/7 you will lead a key client research program, with opportunities to influence the future direction and resource approach. You will use your research experience and strong interpersonal strengths to manage your team and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Supported by our Consultancy Director. Account Director and CEO, you will be able to focus on what you do best – the research!

In this role you will lead one of our global client research teams that operates in the US, UK and Germany. You will get involved in the research and will spend approximately 25% of your time hands on. The remainder of your time will be managing your team of mid-weight researchers and working closely with the client and the rest of the UX24/7 team.

THE CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL HAVE

We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate the following capabilities and experience:

  • Master’s degree in HCI, Usability, Psychology or closely related discipline OR a track record in leading research teams and programs
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience doing hands-on design research across a range of methodologies and qualitative data analysis techniques
  • Strong track record of delivering research results that impact product strategy and development
  • Mentoring teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • The ability to work alone, unsupervised
  • Energy, enthusiasm, determination.

Other requirements are as follows: You should:

  • Be based in the USA
  • Have good problem-solving capabilities, good attention to detail and be good at planning
  • Have competency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

We are seeking for a mid-weight UX Researcher, fluent in German and English, who is looking for their next opportunity to develop their skills and capabilities. When you join UX24/7, under the supervision of the Lead UX Research and Consultancy Director, you will lead projects and engagements with one of our most important clients.

Supported by our global team, you will be able to focus on what you do best – UX research! Some travel may be needed to join quarterly team meetings and the annual social.

The research we deliver falls into three main groups: discovery (foundation), generative and evaluative. In this role, you will be mainly focused on the evaluative research area and supporting the US market. You will be part of a program team, delivering valuable insight to one of our key clients.

THE CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL HAVE

We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate the following capabilities and experience:

  • Degree (post-graduate desired) in HCI, Usability, Psychology or closely related discipline
  • 3 years’ commercial experience doing hands-on UX research ideally across a range of methodologies, but at a minimum with evaluative methods, and qualitative data analysis techniques
  • The ability to moderate research in both German and English
  • Passion for research and improving user experiences
  • A love of evaluative research
  • Good presentation and writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A desire to have a positive impact on our clients’ business
  • Ability to work autonomously – with the right support

Other requirements are as follows: You should:

  • Be based in the the UK or mainland Europe
  • Have good problem-solving capabilities, good attention to detail and be good at planning
  • Have competency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
