User Research in Singapore

User Research in Singapore

Remote or lab-based user research in Singapore, with real customers and local, Senior UX Researchers

Singapore is a city-state located on the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula and is the largest port in southeast Asia. It was once part of the British Empire but became independent in 1965. The population is very diverse as a result of historic immigration but Chinese make up three quarters of the population, followed by Malays and Indians. However, despite there being four official languages, English is the language for administration, commerce and industry and is the primary language taught in schools.

Conducting research in Singapore is relatively straightforward because the country is very westernized and there are good facilities and a mature UX capability. The key challenge is defining the audience you wish to research with, then determining the language needs and then assembling your team.

UX24/7 is a global design research agency that operates with our own team of Senior UX Researchers. All our Senior UX Researchers have been evaluated as part of their joining process to ensure they have the skills, capabilities and experience to deliver user research and UX research to the high standards we expect. Our team in Singapore is perfectly equipped to deliver research in Singapore and in other Chinese Mandarin speaking markets including mainland China – see case study below.

The insight generated from 2 days’ user research in China was absolutely invaluable and more than we expected. If you’re looking for someone to support you gaining insight into your international customers’ online shopping behaviour and experiences I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend UX24/7.
